Nelson Mandela (at the Olympics "Celebrate Humanity" campaign): "For seventeen days, they are roommates. For seventeen days, they are soul mates. And for twenty-two seconds, they are competitors. Seventeen days as equals. Twenty-two seconds as adversaries. What a wonderful world that would be. That's the hope I see in the Olympic Games."
If anyone has had a dream and wanted to achieve the seemingly impossible; one can surly relate to this story. Our ability to achieve is incalculable and the promise of this usually culminates into stories of incredible enlightenment. Usually the sacrifices made by the few are there to remind each one of us that our potentials are solely untapped and that if we applied ourselves we can attain that which always seems un-reachable.
